One year in 10 days!

A whole year will pass soon!
The pain became dormant but alas its always there. This ashara mubaraka, Curtly bhai, he was missed by the whole tazyeen team. I of course, don't need to specify how much his close friends and family would've missed him. Hot tears flow in his honor, in remembrance and in his friendly wake, by all who lived with him. Everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing him, including me are touched in the same way.
Curtly bhai is survived by his two beautiful loving daughters. They are and will become his legacy. Personally I haven't had the luck to meet these beautiful daughters of his but people I'm close to have been with these two little girls and I've only heard that they are adorable cutie pies. Therefore they will carry the mission of their father, of joy, happiness, kindness and selflessness forward, in them forever.
I must confess that Curtly bhai and me had met only briefly and had stayed in touch with each other on and off. But the interactions we had on specific life issues has molded me into the person that I am. Those berief talks I clearly remember have been most reassuring words anybody would relate to the famous quote, "Ollllll eeezzzj Welllll". All I'm capable of sharing on this public forum is that he had advised me to "not take load"(load nai lene ka, dene ka!/get tensed/worry) and persevere as there is always the one for everyone if their life. If your Love is true and pure and if you are meant to be then the cosmos (Khuda TA, Bewe Maula tus) will, will it be. It will, will you both together. And it worked for me.
Thank you Curtly bahi. I owe you a K, a Greek Kudos. A hats off K as in Karrrrreeenaaaa!!! Dedicated to his loving daughters, Mamma, siblings, wife and friends.

Written by one of Marhum M.Huzefa Bhai's classmates :

Chhor kar aaj hame tu chala hai yu,
rooh tak kaanp gayee aaj tere jaane par

Yaad mein teri aaj roye hai milke  yu,
Jaise rota hai koi apno ke guzarne par

Dekh ke dono mere bacche sochta hu yu,
Kya guzarti hogi aaj tere baccho par

Jab kabhi humse mila humko hansaya hai yu,
Yaad bas karke use aansu gire chehre par

Jamea mein parha, ki waha hi khidmat,
is tarah ke khara ho jata tu ek bulaane upar

Na kabhi aaya khayaal hoga tere saath mein yu,
Kaanp jata hai jism soch wo nazare par

tha mila humse moharram ke dino mein woh yu
Tab na socha tha ki na milega tu jaane par

Jo shafa'at hai mili dono moula ki yu,
Sabr ko bandhta hai ye hamare dil par..

Just something truly form my heart!

Heart felt condolences to Curtly bhai's family, foremost his mum my Faiji, his wife and 2 loving kids and all of his friends! Especially Mustafa!

The year he got married was the year I came to know I had so many cousins in Karachi.I helped out with his marriage preparations as much as I could and It was the first wedding ever, I had witnessed of a maternal cousin. He is a fun loving guy. At the center of lime light always. He is so full of compassion to help others around him. That's what his Alma matter consisted of.The driving desire to help people out in distress and earn their respect in return. And nothing else!
Huz bhai is the one I called Mamu to tease him. He is the example of the fact, that if you truly love someone and if they are meant for you no matter what, they'll be united. Whatever the circumstances. He'd also add that your love for them should be true and they should be meant for you. And if that doesn't happen he'd say "they were not meant for you." His logic was simple but so true in it's essence.
Little did I know, what fate had in store for him.Tamne bewe Maula (tus) ni shafa'at naseeb kare. Ameen.
